What is Goodreads ?
Goodreads lets people track books they have read or want to read, build shelves, rate titles and read community reviews. Conversations grow around reading.
What makes it different
Quick ratings help sort books, while detailed reviews give other readers more useful context.
A practical first step
Specify the book’s edition and language in your note; separate a review of the text from an assessment of its translation.

Limits and criteria for your trial
Define shelves to distinguish reading plans, current reading and finished books. When choosing a book, compare reviews and context; an average rating describes neither intended audience nor the quality of an edition or translation.
